No school in session on MLK, Jr. Day, January 20.

Students & parents interested in Dual Enrollment are invited to an information meeting, Jan. 23, 7:00 p.m. in the Commons Area. Dual Enrollment students take college courses while enrolled in high school. They earn both high school & college credit simultaneously. Students who failed Algebra I, Biology, Sophomore Literature or Chemistry with a 60-69 during the first semester may register for Brookwood's Credit Recovery Program. Registration runs through February 4. Visit the counseling office in A1 for more information. This is a great opportunity for students to make up classes.

The Career & Technical Education Dept. is forming an Advisory Committee. The committee will be made up of volunteers in the fields of IT, computer science, finance, marketing, engineering, video & film, as well as business professionals & entrepreneurs. The committee will meet twice a year & be asked to serve as speakers, work with students on projects for competition or judge competitions. If you can help, fill out the form online.

For info about students possibly earning course credit by using the "Test Out" option, contact the Curriculum Office at 678-344-2606. The fee for the test is $53.
