Saturday night is your last chance to see the dance show Lost & Found, 7:00 p.m. in the BHS Theater. Tickets $10 at the door. The story is written by students in 9th grade Language Arts, with an original song by freshman Emma Shuman.
The audience will determine the ending.
Academics 

Sleep in on Monday!  November 3 at 2:00 a.m., clocks are turned backward 1 hour to 
1:00 a.m.

Progress reports are distributed to students on November 4.

Thanksgiving break is November 25-29.

 

Connect to Brookwood 
Each Thanksgiving, the PTSA shows the BHS staff how thankful it is by treating them to some delicious cookies. We need bakers! Cookies will be dropped off at school on November 20, 7:00 a.m.-noon. (Students can bring cookies to school.) Volunteers will be at the front & theater entrances to accept cookies in disposable, non-returnable containers. 23rd Annual Arts & Crafts Festival to benefit the Tip-Off Club, November 9, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. in the Commons Area. Flyer. Interested vendors may email Nicole Lewis-Evans or visit the basketball website for an application.

 

Driver's Ed Class offered through the Community School, November 12-December 18 in Room A113, Tuesday & Wednesday, 2:30-5:30 p.m. Class includes thirty hours of instruction & six hours of driving. Price $345. Registration in Room A3. Print form at the Brookwood Driver's Ed website.

 

Through November 30, Nash Chevy will donate $50 to Brookwood's Students Against Destructive Decisions Club for every test drive at their 630 Scenic Highway location. Just mention this program at the dealership for details.

 

Seniors can win a new Chevy Sonic or Cruze (and other great prizes) from Nash Chevrolet by having 98% or higher school attendance. Students are automatically entered, but must be present on May 17 at the Cobb Galleria to win. More details coming soon.

 

Auditions for the Talent Show will take place the week after Thanksgiving Break. Students will hear more about this over the announcements in the coming weeks.
