The PSAT is an excellent teaching test, which has been shown to help students increase scores on the actual SAT. 10th grade students will take the PSAT at school on October 16 free of charge. There is a $15 charge for 9th & 11th graders who would like to take the PSAT at school on October 16. 9th & 11th graders may register online at www.mypaymentsplus.com through September 26.

The Media Center will show 30-minute SAT Prep Videos after school free of charge. Sessions begin at 2:30 p.m. There is a different video each day. Critical Reading & Writing videos on September 24, 25 & 26. Math videos on September 30, October 1, 2 & 3.

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be given at school on September 12. This test measures student's interests & aptitudes & does not tie students to the military. Seniors can sign up for the test in counseling (A1).
Since 2002, Brookwood Schools Foundation has granted over $111,000 to assist Brookwood educators with innovative projects that would not have been funded through the county or state.
