We'll gather in Brookwood Community Stadium, May 22 @ 8:00 p.m. to honor the Brookwood Class of 2013. (Photo by teacher Kelly Swanson from her seat at the 2012 ceremony.)  The ceremony will also be shown live from the homepage of the school website. DVDs are on sale from the school website.

PRINTABLE MAY TESTING CALENDAR Students are released at 11:46 a.m. on May 20-22.

 

Students will be asked to leave the building each day at release time, unless they have an apointment with a teacher.

 

No bookbags on the last day of school.

 

Chick-fil-A biscuits will be sold for $2 during the break between exams on May 20-22.

Summer Camps for Students K-9 

The Community School offers sports camps for baseball, basketball, lacrosse, football, softball, tennis and volleyball for grades K-9.  Details, dates and registration info. 

 

Fine Arts  

34 original compositions from the students in Music Tech can be downloaded for free online.

Fencing Team
The Brookwood Fencing Club earned two overall season championships in Women's Epee & Men's Foil. The club offers summer sessions on Mondays beginning June 3 for students interested in BHS fencing.  Email boosterclub@brookwoodfencing.com for details.  More on 2012-13 team results.

The final supply of school yearbooks are on sale in A23. $100 cash or money order.

 

Project Graduation tickets will be on sale for $65 at the Senior Breakfast. Complete party info can be found at the PTSA website or contact Tara Pannell tpannell816@comcast.net.

The PTSA treats all the seniors to a free breakfast on May 22 @ 8:00 a.m. Anyone who has volunteered to bring food, should drop it off at the stadium prior to 8:00 a.m.

 

As a fundraiser for the organization, Brookwood Schools Foundation is auctioning off unique items & experiences  Donate or bid at this link. Auction ends May 20.

 

Baccalaureate Service, May 19, 3:00 p.m. at Cannon UMC. (Seniors arrive at 2:30 p.m. wearing cap, gown, cords & stoles, without their purses or cell phones.)

 

If your student has medication in the clinic, please plan to pick it up by the end of the school year. All medication not picked up by 5/22 will be discarded.  Medication can be picked up from the clinic during normal school hours.
