Yavneh Students Win SITE Competition
|
Our third grade students had the opportunity to participate in the Student Inventions Through Education (SITE) program. Using the scientific method, the students were asked to create an invention or an innovation that solves a problem they or others may have. The students presented their inventions/ innovations to our first and second grade students. Middle school students who participate in the E2K program served as judges. After much deliberation, the judges chose their top two inventions. The Book Blocker created by Chanan and Adira Schreiber, along with "The Wooden Pitcher" created by Noah Greenbaum and Michael Riskin, were crowned the winners. On May 21st, the two winning projects were entered in a regional competition where "The Wooden Pitcher" took home the top prize. Congratulations to all the students who participated in the SITE program!
