Last summer, six people from Edmonton, Alberta journeyed together to Colorado to participate in the Vision Quest there.  Estelle, the elder of this group, has since joined our training program and invited us to journey to her homeland, a retreat center on beautiful land near Edmonton.  We're delighted to accept the invitation.  We'll be presenting both a training on the Four Shields/Medicine Wheel model of human-nature connection, and a full Vision Quest.

Soldiers returning to civilian life after military service face challenges to body, soul and spirit. Often veterans have experienced or seen things that they need to acknowledge and come to terms with, in order to re-enter civilian life with wholeness, dignity and a sense of purpose. There is not enough being done in our society to welcome these veterans and help them to cross the threshold of return in a way that is healing and empowering. The ceremony of the Vision Quest can be a powerful ally in assisting this journey of return. This program is being offered as a give-away with no tuition, and only a small cost for food & camping, to veterans who wish to undertake this rite of passage.

A coming of age program for young people age 16-22.  A powerful, challenging and extraordinary way to step into adulthood, with responsibility for self and community, honoring the journey and one's own gifts.

This will mark our 5th visit to the Australian continent, where we've met many new friends, spent time in the bush with wallabies and wombats, and discovered a deep connection with both the people and this land full of song.  We are offering this program to both men and women, with the intention to train more Australian guides in the future.
