Once again the nation watches breathlessly as events in the streets of Baltimore, MD seem to be escalating and spilling over into the streets of other major cities; Washington, DC, New York, and potentially your city and mine. At this time the nation is a tender box that could explode at any minute. 

 

PNBC applauds the pastors in Baltimore who locked arms and tried to defuse this volatile situation. Yet their best intentions notwithstanding, we all know that crowds don't listen to reason. The naked truth is we don't know what will happen next. 

 

What we do know and believe is that "the weapons of our warfare are spiritual." Therefore, I am calling on all PNBC pastors to join with our Baltimore colleagues in prayer for their city, the young people who mean well, and the conditions that have created these deplorable conditions.
