Chartres Pilgrimage September 22-26, 2014
A Journey into Beauty, Wonder, Love, and Service

You've Been Waiting

Bonjour!

Imagine you had four days to pray and reflect deeply about your relationship with God and your calling to serve the world. What might you discover? This fall, you have such an opportunity in Chartres, and it would be my privilege to be your guide during your journey!

Veriditas has asked me to lead daily sessions as part of their Walking a Sacred Path Pilgrimage. There is more information about the program and registration on their website. The pilgrimage will include devotional "tours" of the cathedral and a private after-hours labyrinth walk during the pilgrimage--always a highlight!

Prayerfully consider joining me, and please let others know about this wonderful opportunity!

In the joy and love of Christ, Jill

Other Retreats in Chartres Guided by Jill
This is the only English-language retreat that I am scheduled to lead in Chartres for the next couple of years. Besides this event, I now co-lead French-language "Retraite Cathédrale" each spring, and do private guiding in the cathedral for individual and groups on pilgrimage in both English and French. If you can not come in September, consider praying in Chartres with me at a different time. Email me for availability.
More About Your Guide

The Rev. Jill Kimberly Hartwell Geoffrion, Ph.D. has been praying in the Chartres Cathedral since 1978. Jill now spends 2-3 months in Chartres each year studying and photographing the cathedral daily. She guides individuals and groups using all the artistic expressions of faith found in the cathedral (architecture, stained glass, sculpture, etc.) as springboards for the spiritual growth of those visiting. As a photographer, Jill seeks to express the potential of this UNESCO world heritage site to address the needs of our troubled world. When not in Chartres, Jill serves as an artist and minister through Faith, Hope and Love Global Ministries, a non-profit that teaches, inspires and encourages Christian leaders around the globe. She gratefully installs labyrinths and offers labyrinth programming on four continents. Two of Jill's seven books on labyrinth prayer, Praying the Labyrinth and Praying the Chartres Labyrinth focus on the pilgrimage experience in the Chartres Cathedral. (See: My personal website; Through Jill's Eyes (my photo travel blog); and Faith, Hope, and Love Global Ministries' site.)
