Tree trims prevent outages
Did you know one of the leading causes of a power outage is a problem tree? Maintaining a clear path around power lines, or right-of-way (ROW) easements, can help prevent these outages from happening in your neighborhood.

Trimming the ROW is not a quick and easy task and can take years for our crews to clear the more than 6,400 miles of power lines so we can safely deliver reliable service to you. Crews are currently working in areas around our service area in an effort to minimize future outages related to trees or underbrush. As we come to your area, please cooperate with our crews so they can work efficiently to get your ROW cleared.

ROW Tour Schedule
  • 30 Day:
    • Central Church Rd., Hwy. 5, Kings Hwy., Big A Rd.
  • 60 Day:
    • Big A Rd., Hwy. 166, Hwy. 5 (East)
If your ROW needs trimming, please contact us at 770-942-6576.
Is your generator safe?
Are you new to the world of portable generators? Make sure you know your stuff before you plug and play! If installed and operated incorrectly, the lives of your family or those working to restore your power could be in danger.

Do your research and know what kind of generator is suitable for your needs, where you are going to place it and what you will be plugging in. Generators can be a great investment to help your family in a time of need, so be sure to invest your time in learning how to use them.
