 Tree trims prevent outages Did you know one of the leading causes of a power outage is a problem tree? Maintaining a clear path around power lines, or right-of-way (ROW) easements, can help prevent these outages from happening in your neighborhood. Trimming the ROW is not a quick and easy task and can take years for our crews to clear the more than 6,400 miles of power lines so we can safely deliver reliable service to you. Crews are currently working in areas around our service area in an effort to minimize future outages related to trees or underbrush. As we come to your area, please cooperate with our crews so they can work efficiently to get your ROW cleared. ROW Tour Schedule- 30 Day:

Energy Efficient upgrades
We have teamed up with GEMC Federal Credit Union (GEMC FCU) to provide a special energy efficiency loan program to help members save on home improvement items around the home. Improvements include installation of an Energy Star heating and cooling system, home insulation, or even Energy Star doors and windows. With special financing of 2.9% APR* for up to $5,500, you're sure to see a savings!
GEMC FCU is also providing a number of seminars to help members improve their financial abilities. These seminars are free to attend, but do require registration.
