GREYSTONE POWER MEMBERS

We are still receiving reports that members are receiving phone calls from someone representing themselves as an employee of GreyStone Power and demanding immediate payment in order to avoid disconnect of power to their home or business.

This is a scam!

If you receive a call from someone claiming to represent GreyStone and they try to force you to make a payment over the phone, do not. If you feel the call is suspicious, hang up and call GreyStone directly. Do not give out any sensitive information. Please report suspicious calls to your local law enforcement.

You always have the option to pay via our secure web self service. Email memberservices@greystonepower.com if you need assistance, or call 770-942-6576, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Capital Credits

Be on the lookout as checks start hitting the mailboxes! In late September or early October, we will begin disbursing over $4.6 million in combined profit margins to members who received power from GreyStone during 1995 and 2013.

In a not-for-profit cooperative like GreyStone, margins are returned to you rather than to stockholders in a for-profit business.

The amount received is based on the amount you paid during specific years and how much we are able to return to members, while remaining financially healthy.

Checks will be sent to your last known address, so it is important to leave a forwarding address when you move. If a check is not claimed after five years, the money is used through the GreyStone Power Foundation, Inc. to fund scholarships and assist members and the public through charitable non-profit organizations.

October is just around the corner and that means it's time for our most popular member event! Join us on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as we celebrate our 77th Annual Meeting of Members at our headquarters in Douglasville.

As a GreyStone member (you receive power from us), you and your immediate family are invited to join us for a day of family fun, which will include a free Chick-fil-A biscuit, a Health Fair, an Energy Efficiency Expo, inflatables and carnival games for children, snacks and some exciting door prizes, including a grand prize of a 2005 Chevy Silverado C1500 truck! Our Residential Energy Services experts will host mini-EE101 seminars, filled with energy-efficiency tips and how-tos to help you save money in our Energy Efficiency Expo tent. Come get tips on how to change your air filter, learn more about compact fluorescent lights and more!

The Old Paths, a quartet of Southern gospel singers, will provide the entertainment prior to the business meeting. With two #1 songs, four top 40 songs of the year, several top 10 hits, a magazine cover, numerous coveted stage appearances, and various international concert performances, you are sure to be entertained!

Several business owners participating in the Co-op Connections Card (CCC) program will also be on hand for you to learn about the exclusive discounts they offer. Don't forget your wallet! You may find a great gift item to purchase.
