BBQ & Movie this Sunday
Sunday, July 31, After Worship
Please join us as we'll enjoy a movie in air conditioned comfort followed by a picnic BBQ lunch! The menu is grilled chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, watermelon and ice cream. (Vegan and gluten free options are available.) We'll be screening "Fragile World" - A movie about a lonely interior decorator with a history of delusions falls for a dashing stranger who may or may not be real. Produced by Lisa Lambert! SOV Church Fishing Trip
Our Fishing Trip is quickly approaching!
When: Saturday, August 13thCost: $65 a personWhere: Hooks Landing, 3600 Cabezone Cir Suite 115, Oxnard, CA 93035Time: The Coroloma will leave port at 6am and Dock at 5pm  16 and under do not need a fishing license.1 day fishing passes can be bought at the landing for $15. Book Club in August
Sunday, August 21 at 10:45 a.m. in library.
Each person is to select and read a book of their own choice with the word "House" in the title.
Example: "The Lake House" or "The Painted House" etc.
Bring back a short review of the book to share with the group and why it was chosen.

LSS is in need of volunteers to help with data entry, intake at the front desk, and help in the food pantry,

SOV Summer Camp
Last week to sign up for summer camp at SOV! The complete schedule can be found here!
Next weeks session is "Olympics Week"for
preschool and elementary kids.
We offer full days, half days, and extended days. The program includes lots of games, crafts, fun activities and even field trips. We have plenty of activities to keep your kids busy, no matter what their interests are! All children from preschool through 6th grade are welcome.

Stephen Ministry Training classes
 Stephen Leaders are pastors, church staff, and lay leaders who share a common passion-bringing Christ's love and care to hurting people. We will be starting a new series of Stephen Ministry Training classes on Monday evenings beginning September 12.
