Reasons to Review Your Will or Trust
There are many reasons to review your will or trust on a regular basis. Some major reasons include not having reviewed your will or trust in the last ten years, a change in family situations, or a change in personal holdings. I would also have you consider the adding of a statement of faith known as a Christian Preamble, or adding a charitable component to your estate plan. Making changes to a will or trust can be expensive if you are not properly prepared. If you are thinking about adding or changing a charitable component to your estate plan, I can help you be prepared for a meeting with your attorney, or show you ways to leave a legacy gift without changing your will or trust. Contact me at 909-910-6823 or by email at: gregory.shepherd@elca.org
