Confirmation & Youth Group End of Year Party Tonight!

LSS Annual Golf Tournament
The LSS annual golf tournament was a success. There were a total of 84 golfers, and we had some new golfers to the tournament. Watch for an update as to funds raised. A great time was had by all.

Teacher Appreciation week
This is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week at SOV. This is a week for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives. It is time to say "Thank You" to the special teachers and staff that you know. Let them know that they are appreciated for all that they do.

Mindful Yoga with Julie Certified!
Julie Rowland received her certification in yoga! Rarely does one stand alone when accomplishing a goal. Julie extends her heartfelt thanks to SOV, to the West Hills and Woodland Hills Facebook pages, and to all of the students for support and encouragement. Julie is committed to your success in yoga in a powerful inspirational way! You can join her on Mondays for Mindful Yoga at 6 PM and Saturdays at 8:30 AM for intermediate yoga.

5th & 6th Grade Outdoor School
@ El Camino Pines
The 5th and 6th grade class spent last week at El Camino
Pines Outdoor School. Some of their activities included
survival, fire ecology, a night walk, archery, a low ropes
course, rock wall climbing and astronomy. The boys made new friends, sang fun songs and made life-long
memories. What an awesome week!

LSS food pantry is running low. Please consider donating non-perishable, nutritious canned and dry goods to the food pantry.
We are currently very low on: soup, vegetables, beans, tuna, cereal, oatmeal, rice & pasta, boxed juice, granola bars, nuts, cookies and water for homeless.

Free Parent & Me Classes in May
SOV Preschool will be offering FREE Parent and Me classes in the month of May. Every week, we will be offering a free class with one of our outstanding teachers. There will be lots of fun crafts and activities to do with your child. Come and join in on the fun! The activities are for children ages 3-5 years old and parent must accompany the child. Classes will be offered from

At Cave Quest vacation Bible school, kids experience God's Word in surprising and unforgettable ways! Each day, leaders reinforce one simple Bible truth-which makes it easy for kids to remember and apply to real life!
Kids will spend each day spelunking through field-tested
activity stations with their Cave Crews (small groups of children and one leader). Every station is designed to reinforce the daily Bible Point in a hands-on, interactive way that keeps everyone engaged.
