School will be closed on Good Friday, March 25, and Monday-Friday, March 28 - April 1 for Easter break.

The office will be open 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. during the break.
There will be no Club House during the week.

School resumes on Monday, April 4.

First Communion

Third grade is the normal time for First Communion at Shepherd of the Valley. Students enrolled in our school will receive instruction during religion class.
Please contact Pastor Bryan to make sure your child completes the necessary steps to receive First Communion during the Holy Thursday service, March 24, at 7:00 p.m.

Elementary School

Last week, the 5th/6th grade class took a field trip to the Huntington Library where students participated in a class called Paper, Pens & Prose: Discovering Early Manuscripts. The students were introduced to the way the first books were produced, how paper and inks were made, and what the scribes used to write with. The students also saw the Gutenberg Bible, which is the first substantial book printed in the West with movable metal type.

The class finished their book, "We're Going on a Bear Hunt."

Pizza Thursday Volunteers

We need volunteers to help our students have an enjoyable Pizza Thursday. It's a great opportunity to earn 2 hours of volunteer time on any given week. The hours are from 10:30 a.m. to at 12:15 p.m. Please let Wendy in the office know if you can help.
