Happy Pi Day!

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3.14) around the world.
In celebration of Pi day, 5th/6th grade students made a paper chain using different colors to represent the first few digits of pi. They learned about the idea of what the never-ending decimal looks like.

Last week, the Kindergarten class did a service project in celebration of Lutheran Schools Week. They planting lettuce and carrots in our garden!

The 3rd and 4th graders went on a field trip to the Ventura County Museum and the Buena Ventura Mission.

5th & 6th Graders went on a epic whale watching tour on Friday in Ventura. This was a great opportunity for the students to view whales, dolphins, sea lions, and many more marine animals.

Sunshine Room

Our boys are so proud of their cup towers.

Our theme of the week was letter L, so we made lemonade. We tried it, and it was sour!
