It's Turkey Trot Time!
|
On Friday, November 20th, Shepherd of the Valley will be hosting The Annual Turkey Trot! This is one of the happiest school days of the year for our kids and also one of our largest annual fundraising events. We also hope to surpass last year's effort and reach our new fundraising goal of $8,000. Funds raised from this event will go towards bettering the facilities and experiences that our children enjoy everyday at SOV.
In past years, money raised from the Turkey Trot event have been instrumental in helping to fund major school projects like: the Playground, the Field of Dreams, the Anniversary Garden, and the resurfaced parking lot. You are invited and encouraged to attend the Turkey Trot on the 20th. Come and run the event with your children! Or just come and cheer from the sidelines! Please take a look at the volunteer forms and sign up to volunteer. All help is greatly appreciated. Please see the packet that was sent home today.
Important Dates: Monday, November 2 - Turkey Trot!!! Kickoff Event
Monday, November 9 - Rally Day 1
Monday, November 16 - Rally Day 2
Friday, November 20 - Turkey Trot!!!
