Fellowship Under the Stars

Saturday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m. This is a fellowship event for parents only. There will be dinner, drinks, and conversation! Please RSVP to the Evite by tomorrow if you haven't already done so.

PTF General Meeting

Friday, October 2, 3:00 p.m. The general meeting will be held in the Chapel after school. All parents are encouraged to attend. There will be free childcare available in Clubhouse during the meeting.

Used Uniform Sale

Friday, October 2, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Used uniforms will be available for purchase after school in Founders Hall immediately following the PTF meeting.

Preschool Children's Rummage Sale
Saturday, October 10. Please consider donating gently used children's items for the sale. All proceeds will benefit our preschool.

Volunteers Needed!

Picture Day Volunteers - We still need a couple of volunteers to help with picture day from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22. You would be letting grades know when it's their turn and making sure the kids look neat and tidy. Please contact the PTF if you are interested in helping.

Scrip Volunteers - We need volunteers to sell Scrip one day a week. This can be done in the mornings
(8:15 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.) or after school (2:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.) for a total of 1 hour per week.

2015-16 Back-to-School Night
We had an outstanding turnout at our Back-to-School Night. Parents had the opportunity to meet and greet the teachers as well as other families. We were given updates on what's been happening, and what's coming up this year. Thank you teachers for giving us your time to share curriculum and goals for the year ahead.

Magazine Drive

Have a hobby or favorite interest you'd like to read more about? Choose from hundreds of magazine titles available through our current fundraiser. Order new magazines - or renew current ones - and support our school. Students are encouraged to ask family and friends to order.

First Deadline: This Thursday, September 24, turn in your reach-out booklet and first orders and earn tickets to spin the wheel!

SOV Drama Company

What: A fabulous company of actors working together to put on a show!

When: Starts Friday, September 25 @ 7:45 a.m.
*Class is Friday mornings @ 7:45 a.m. in Chapel

Why: Because everyone deserves a chance to shine!

Cost: $60 per session. The play will be performed in December. Date to be announced.

Who: Grades 3-6, All Are Welcome!

Animal Encounters - Only a Few Spaces Left!

The upcoming Animal Encounters After School Enrichment Class has a few enrollment openings left. Meet a different live animal each week. Learn about its habitat, behavior and so much more from experienced zoology staff!

The fun starts next Monday, September 28, and meets each Monday after school for eight weeks from 3-4 pm (inside/outside depending on weather). Enrollment for the eight week session is $105. Come and join the fun! Please stop by the office or contact Mrs. Luetscher if you would like to sign up your child.

Preschool will be hosting a Children's Rummage Sale on Saturday, October 10 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This is a great opportunity to clean out your closets and garage. Recycle items your child has outgrown or simply no longer uses while benefiting Shepherd. This event will be free and open to the public! Please consider donating a variety of children's items such as furniture (activity tables, desks and chairs) and accessories, outdoor/sports equipment, toys, games, electronics, maternity and children's clothing and shoes (*no car seats/boosters, cribs, mattress, strollers, or helmets).
