Did You Know?
2015 Mid-Year Challenge

Vice President of the Congregation, Erin Studer, on behalf of the Church Council, has issued a 2015 Mid-Year Challenge for Shepherd of the Valley. A letter containing the challenge was sent this week. If you did not receive it you may contact the office and one will be sent. In it, Erin offers this challenge:

I humbly invite you to join me in this effort to examine your own practice of stewardship, and consider an increase in giving, or a one-time above and beyond gift. If you are not yet regular in your giving, commit to becoming consistent. If you are lagging behind in your intentions, recommit to your plan. In all cases, prayerfully consider how God is calling you to contribute to our work here at Shepherd of the Valley.

Response cards may be returned by mail, to the office, or through the Sunday offering. Extra cards are available from the office and in the narthex of the sanctuary.
Thank You

We extend a hearty "Thank You" to Jacob Goodman for faithfully teaching Sunday School for the past two years! Jacob will be heading to Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA for college this fall. Thanks, Jacob!

P.S. Sunday School will take the summer off and return in the fall.
