Easter/Spring Break has finally arrived! School will be closed on Good Friday, April 3, and Monday-Friday, April 6-10. Club House will not be offered during break. Have fun everybody!

Bowling with the Teachers & Pastor Bryan

The Bowling Party with the SOV teachers and Pastor Bryan was a success! Everybody had a lot of fun! Special thanks to the teachers, Pastor and Corbin Bowl for their continuous support of our school.

Personal Ad for the Yearbook

3 spaces are available in the yearbook for a special memory note that can be dedicated to your child. Memory notes include your custom personal message and any photos you would like published. There is one full page for $50 and two 1/4 pages at $25 each available! As you know each child receives a yearbook at no charge as part of their enrollment at SOV; therefore, why not customize your child's yearbook for a nominal charge by purchasing one of the remaining spaces?

Club House Easter Egg Hunt

Come to Club House this Thursday, April 2, for an Easter Egg Hunt! An egg-cellent snack will be provided! The egg hunt will begin at 3:30 p.m. with fun prizes and candy. There will be a golden egg for each child pre-registered, however, you must sign up in advance so the Bunny knows how many eggs to deliver! Regular Club House fees apply.

Spring Sports @SOV (Grades 3-5)

The Valley Christian Elementary Athletics League is offering coed soccer this spring season. The program will continue to develop our students' athletic skills. We're looking for more players for another fun and exciting season.

Preschool News

For 2015/2016 we are almost full in Sunshine Room on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and are filling up on Tuesday/Thursday. In Blossom Room, we are already half way full. Please recommend our preschool to your family and friends. When the new family registers, you will receive one month of free tuition (rates vary based on days of enrollment).

Summer Program and Vacation Bible School

EVEREST... Conquering Challenges with God's Mighty Power! Your child will have a "mountain top" experience using their imagination, trekking through glacier games, singing at base camp, and taking Bible expeditions.

New for 2015: LRCC is providing two different programs this year. The Day Camp theme, "Go Fish," will be offered at SOV July 20-24. The on-site summer theme, "Anchored," will be at El Camino Pines, Luther Glen and Beach Camp. Your child can attend camp on-site and Day Camp and enjoy two distinct programs.

SCRIP of the Week - The Gap/Old Navy/ Banana Republic and AMC Theater

This week's SCRIP of the week card is The Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic and AMC Theaters.
We are adding and extending the SCRIP of the week card this week to cover Easter break. Also, SCRIP statements will be going out tomorrow.

The minimum value of the card must be $25. Please stop by the office and pick one up! The Raffle Prize will be a $100 gift card to Dennis Uniforms or a $75 SCRIP gift card of your choice. The drawing will happen on June 1.

Remember: Scrip Requirements must be met by May 31. If you do not meet your requirement, a Scrip Deposit of $250 will be required next year. You will be billed on Sept. 15 for the $250 Scrip Deposit (shortfall billed June 1). Taking advantage of the Scrip of the Week is a great way to help meet your requirement (these stores have higher than average percentages). Please contact the office if you have any questions.
