First Communion
 Third graders will make their First Communion on Holy Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m. If your child attends our school, preparation is being provided as part of the curriculum. Those not in our school, please speak with Pastor to sign-up for their first communion preparation session.

PTF Fellowship @ Chipotle Tonight

Chip Lee, Stephen Minister Leader
 Shepherd has been a part of my life since I was a very young child. I went to elementary school here. I was confirmed here and eventually taught Sunday School to preschoolers for 10 years with my sister, Caryl Benner. I was recently elected Congregational President after a term as Secretary. I became a Stephen Minister a few years ago and last year joined the Stephen Leaders team here, after attending the week long training course in Anaheim. I have had to cope with a lot of health issues and as a result it has given me a lot of empathy for others who also experience problems in their lives. Some of my favorite activities include watching the All Blacks play rugby, fishing, micro-lending through Kiva and goofing around all I can with my nieces and nephew. Summer Program & Vacation Bible School
The SOV summer program begins June 22 and goes through August 14. Registration forms will be available by the end of March.
VBS June 22-26, the theme is EVEREST...conquering challenges with God's mighty power! Your child will have a "mountain top" experience using their imagination, trekking through glacier games, singing at base camp, and taking Bible expeditions. |
