Called ... Challenged ... Sent
Our annual Fall Stewardship Program begins this Sunday. A special Bible Study will be offered after worship this Sunday, from 10:45 - 11:30 a.m. in Founders Hall.
This Week's Theme: Called to Follow
The account of the miraculous catch of fish in Luke 5:1-11 reminds us that when Jesus calls us to follow him, he very often call us to do so "in deep waters" - in those turbulent places of our lives and in our hearts that God can nonetheless use as places of blessing and new beginnings.
God calls us, challenges us and sends us. We respond, grow and serve. Plan on picking up a "Called ... Challenged ... Sent" packet this Sunday and remain for the time of fellowship and study afterward.
(Note: For the three weeks of this program, Weekly Word groups may meet as usual to reflect on the provided guide, or may choose to participate in the after-worship event instead.)
