Spring Sing and Open House This Thursday |
This Thursday is Spring Sing. Please make sure your student is in his/her classroom at exactly 6:45 p.m. They are to wear their special t-shirt, jeans (no shorts or skirts) and comfortable shoes (no heels for safety on the risers). The program will begin at 7 p.m. We will also be honoring Mrs. Haskell on her retirement during the concert. The classrooms will be open following the event and a bake sale will be held in Founders Hall.

LRCC Summer Camp on Campus
|
June 23-27 TK through sixth grade Counselors from LRCC's various camps are coming to SOV for a week to share the POWER of God's dynamic love and grace. POWER is an inherent characteristic of God, seen around and within our world. From God creating, through Christ's resurrecting, to the Holy Spirits dwelling in our lives, POWER is the active foundation for an abundant life. In Prayer, Others, Word, Equipping, and Responding, we will "become servants of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given to us through the working of God's power."
-Ephesians 3:7
Take a look at other programs on our summer calendar and register now! Remember you only need to pay $30 to hold your spot. All of our programs are open to the community so please spread the word!

Rummage Sale Success |
Many thanks to Pamela Merry, who led and organized a very successful rummage sale this year! She and her great team, including Adriana Olivas and Carole Williamson, worked tirelessly to make this fundraiser fantastic.
Thanks also to the many volunteers who helped sort, sell and clean!
Message from from Pamela:
Christian life consists of faith and charity. -Martin Luther
Organizing the rummage sale fundraiser for our church and school brought in needed revenue. It also served to richen our community as members worked together to support a common goal!
Please remember that fundraising brings people together to fulfill a common cause. A successful fundraising effort creates fellowship among our church and school members!
I was overwhelmed but with superstar volunteers - we did it! SOV appreciates you all. I am so thankful for my cohorts in action and that all of you took the time to hunt under your bed for "hidden treasures."

Drama Play |
Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help make the drama play a success. A special thank you to our drama instructor and director, Mrs. Van Meteren.
The SOV Drama Company would like to thank everyone who came out to see the play for their love and support!
