Spring Gala This Saturday

 Our Spring Gala is this Saturday, March 22 at 5 p.m. Join us for BBQ, Bingo and Silent Auction fun. Pre-orders are due tomorrow. Invite your friends and extended family. It's a great night for all ages! Childcare will be available from 6 p.m. to close. Preschoolers and elementary-aged children will be in separate rooms. Miss Kiki will supervise the preschool room. Volunteers are still needed. Help is needed after school on Friday to set up in Founders Hall and also to prepare food on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. Contact Lisa Lee if you can help. |
WASC Visit

 We are looking forward to our visit from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) school accreditation committee on April 6-9. The visiting committee is made up of three people from different schools in Southern California.
They will be presenting their findings on Wednesday, April 9 at 2:50 p.m. in the sanctuary. Please make sure to join us for this important event. A full church will show them what a caring community we have here at SOV!

Preschool Celebrates St. Patrick's Day

Happy Pi Day!
|
The 5th and 6th grade classes celebrated Pi Day (3.14) on Friday. They learned about the history of Pi, sang a Pi song, made paper chains representing Pi and ended the day with some delicious chocolate pie!
