Thanks from our Ministry Partners

Shepherd of the Valley supports a number of ministry programs each year through our budgeted benevolence program. These partners are working to further a mission and values that align with our church's.

We will feature a few of their responses in the next few issues of eWeek to share their gratitude for our support.

The Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your gift. We are now straddling the middle ground between being an independent institution and merging with California Lutheran University. This year will bring forward a new life for us.

Many staff members have had ample chance to connect with their counterparts at CLU. Their Human Relations staff has traveled up to brief us on our new options. CLU President Chris Kimball has been on campus several times. Everything is ready.

Because of all the transition, your faithful gift means a lot to us at this time. You are making certain that future leaders for the Lutheran expression of Christ's church will continue to be formed here. You are so very important. Thank you.

Annual Meeting This Sunday

The annual meeting will be held immediately following worship service this Sunday. Please join us to review the past year and to learn more about what is being planned for the year ahead. Annual Reports are available in the narthex. One per family, please.
