REMINDER
Your semi annual safety reports are due NOW. Every employer should complete this report, regardless of rebate eligibility, because they are also used to determine annual award eligibility - and if you have a great safety record you deserve recognition for that! Go to www.zmsafety.com for instructions and report forms. Thanks.

Meeting Notice
Wednesday, January 27, 2016 8 am - 9 am Zanesville Country Club PROGRAM
Healthcare Services in Southeast Ohio:
An Update from Genesis Healthcare System
Matt Perry
President & CEO Genesis Healthcare System
A study by the Health Policy Institute of Ohio found that adults in the state's Appalachian and rural counties were more likely to be obese, have high blood pressure, and smoke than adults in other areas of the state, and that adults in rural counties were more likely than their urban counterparts to have suffered from a significant health event, such as a heart attack. And Muskingum County, for example, ranks 66th out of 88 Ohio counties for "health outcomes" according to a study by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Given facts like these, it's important for local employers and their workers to know what their local healthcare options are and how they can get help preventing and treating illness and injuries. Genesis has been investing heavily in the region in recent years - such as through the construction of a new medical center in Zanesville - to ensure that local healthcare options meet the needs of area residents.
