Festival of Trees Nov. 30 - Dec. 4

It's time to start thinking about the upcoming Holiday Season!  The 24th annual Festival of Trees Auction is right around the corner.  We encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to promote your business while supporting local economic development.

  • Live Auction of nearly 200 Festival entries begins at 9 am and ends at 6 pm.   Listen to WHIZ am 1240 and call 450-1990 to bid.
  • Join us all day long for networking, bidding and holiday cheer.
  • "Happy Hour" gathering at the auction from 3:30 pm to 6 pm.
  • Auction schedule will be posted at www.zmchamber.com the week of the event.

Shark Tub
SHARKS ARE BACK
"If you're a local entrepreneur, it's time to get your pitch idea ready. The Muskingum County Business Incubator's annual "Shark Tub" event is back in Zanesville this January, and already looking for talent. Based off of the hit ABC show, the "Shark Tank" inspired event follows the same format. "There's a ton of entrepreneurs in the community and in the surrounding area that people just don't know about, and they're these small, innovative companies that are growing and starting something that can really scale up to be something quite substantial for the area," said Executive Director, Larry Triplett."  Wage and Benefit Survey - Please take now!!

We recently kicked off the 2015 Muskingum County Wage and Benefit Survey. All chamber member businesses are invited to participate, and we urge you or a member of your staff to complete the survey online anytime between now and October 1st. The information we gather from this survey is vital to our ongoing economic development efforts and will help local employers in their planning and budgeting.
