OVERTIME RULES SEMINAR
A seminar on a proposed rule that will significantly increase the number of employees who will become eligible for overtime will be presented on August 27. Jim Evans of JK Evans & Associates LLC, will present the 1 hour seminar on Thursday, August 27 at 8:30 am at the John McIntire Library. Reservations are required - please email dmatz@zmchamber.com. There is no charge to attend, thanks to the support of JK Evans & Associates LLC, the Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association, and the Muskingum County Library System. HIRING?
A job fair for Muskingum County employers who are actively hiring will be held on Thursday, October 1 from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Muskingum County Welcome Center. There is no cost for employers (Muskingum County only) to participate but you must reserve a space in advance. For more information and to reserve your space contact tpoorman@zmchamber.com. The Job Fair is presented by WHIZ Media Group, WYBZ 107.3, the Port Authority, OhioMeansJobs-Muskingum County, the Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association, and the Chamber. With that in mind, we are offering sponsorship opportunities related to the Muskingum County Job Fair explained above. No more than 4 major sponsors will be accepted at $500 each.
