JULY 31 IS DEADLINE TO OBTAIN SAFETY REBATES

Any employer can save money by participating in the Ohio BWC's Safety council rebate program. But you have act now to enroll for this year. The savings potential is 4% of your annual premiums, so you can easily judge if the savings for you would be significant or not. And even if not you might benefit from the monthly safety and health training that is provided. For complete program details and for an enrollment form, go to www.zmsafety.com.

FACEBOOK ADVERTISING SECRETS

Are you frustrated with Facebook Ads? Maybe you've tried them and you didn't get the results you wanted and feel like they didn't work for you. Or maybe you just got overwhelmed with all the choices to make in Facebook ads and gave up in frustration. This free Facebook Ads webinar from social media strategist Andrea Vahl will help you navigate the jungle of Facebook Ads.

LOCAL LISTS
Please take a look at some of the illustrated lists about our community that we have published at zmbrightspots.com and posted on our social media accounts. We have shared lists of 8 Unique Small Businesses, 14 Great Views of Zanesville and Muskingum County, and 10 Reasons Why Zanesville-Muskingum County Gets a "BUY" Recommendation Right Now in the last two weeks. The interaction with these posts (clicks, likes, shares, etc.) on Facebook has been phenomenal. Our plan is to continue to highlight local attributes through lists like these posted on social media each week.

GROW FAST

From Forbes.com: "Sometimes we make business far harder than it is. We over-think our strategy, complicate our product line, worry too much about our staff. All of these are important issues to be sure, but they pale into insignificance compared to the one area of business that contributes most to success." Read more at Forbes.com.

ARE YOU LEAN?

Manufacturers know all about lean business principles. But those of you in service, retail and office environments can put lean principles to work, too. The result can be increased profitability, cost savings, better service, and more. Here's a good introductory article on the subject.
