HIKING OHIO - The CVB in partnership with the Muskingum County Library is hosting the third in the series of Explore, Discover and Experience lunch and learn events on Thursday September 18 at 11:30 am. Attendees will hear Gary S. Williams discuss his book Hiking Ohio. Williams, an avid hiker, recommends 83 day hikes across Ohio. For reservations call 453-0391.
LEGISLATORS SPEAKING - State Senator Troy Balderson and State Representative Brian Hill are speaking at the Tuesday, September 16 meeting of the Muskingum Area Real Estate Investors. They will be joined by Muskingum County Auditor Debbie Nye. The meeting is at 7 pm at Eaglesticks, and Chamber members are welcome to attend.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - OhioMeansJobs-Muskingum County has funding available to help offset the pay of new hires during on-the-job training. Up to 50% of the cost can be reimbursed to your business through this federal grant.
