Lisa Kristensen manages a team of over 350 employees whose main focus is guest service. In addition to managing the Zoo's and Zoombezi Bay's Guest Relations Departments, Lisa is responsible for on-grounds information kiosks, guest engagement teams, ZOOMPASS, and ensuring that the Zoo staff understands guest service standards. More than 2 million people visit the Zoo's facilities each year. The Zoo is home to more than 10,000 animals representing over 575 species from around the globe. The Zoo complex is a recreational and education destination that includes the 22-acre Zoombezi Bay water park and18-hole Safari Golf Club. The Zoo also operates The Wilds in Muskingum County. Lisa earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Jones International University and is a Certified Tourism Ambassador.

ACES Awards for 2013

ACES Awards Program Celebrates Growth
The Chamber will again be recognizing area companies and organizations for economic growth and investment through the annual Awards for Community and Economic Success
(ACES) program. The Muskingum Growth Partnership, the Chamber's privately funded economic development arm, sponsors the awards program.
The program was started in 2002 to draw attention to the investments made by area employers in facilities, equipment, processes, employees, and the community. Awards will be presented to all area businesses that in 2013 made a tangible investment or improvement in buildings, equipment, machinery, inventory or other business assets that resulted in the creation or retention of jobs and other forms of economic growth.
An awards program like this celebrates growth and business success among local firms, and that is an important part of a community economic development effort, it builds local pride and thanks companies for investing in our area.
Nominations for the 2013 calendar year are now being accepted from any area business, and a nomination form is available online at www.zmchamber.com. Self nominations are strongly encouraged. The awards will be presented at the Chamber's annual Spring Breakevent in March. For more information contact the Chamber at 455-8282.
