Customer Service Training - Our January 31 seminar on customer service has been rescheduled to March 7. Our presenter, Lisa Kristensen from the Columbus Zoo, had a family matter to attend to and asked us to postpone her presentation. So, registration is open once again, and although nearly 100 people had made reservations there is still plenty of space for more. Details including the option to register online can be found here. HR Association - The topic of discussion at Wednesday's Muskingum Valley Human Resource Management Association meeting will be about what to do when a violent incident occurs at your workplace. Bethany Hayes, Director of Public Safety for Zane State and OU-Zanesville will talk about the A.L.I.C.E. approach to responding to incidents. The meeting will be on February 12 from 8 am to 9 am at the Chamber. Anyone is welcome. RSVP to jriddle@zmchamber.com. Tourism Meetings - The Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting three meetings you might be interested in attending. Anyone is welcome.
- National Road Consortium Meeting - any businesses located on the National Road are invited to attend this meeting to discuss marketing and promotion of the businesses along this historic road. The meeting will be held at the National Road Zane Grey Museum at 9 AM on February 12.
- Experience Adamsville - any business located in the Adamsville Exit area is invited to attend this meeting to discuss marketing and promotion of the Adamsville area. The meeting will be held at 1:30 on Thursday, February 13 at Spring Acres Alpaca Farm.
- Christmas Lights - any business interested in being involved with planning and generating ideas for Christmas lights and activities are invited to attend this meeting. The meeting will be held at 9 AM Friday, February 14 at the Chamber Offices.
