we can't tell you how much we appreciate your feedback in helping us create a better experience for our guests. over the past year, we've heard that when calling, you want to talk directly with a representative at your preferred location.

with phone service, our goal is to always put you in touch with a live person when you call. secondly, we want to keep the steps simple when booking an appointment, especially for our regularly returning guests. so to address this, we're moving away from the central number you currently call to reach either location. going forward, you can call each location directly!

to reach grand directly, continue to call: 651-288-4040
to reach west end directly, call: 763-450-1111

it will take a little time to fully transition this, so we need to ask for your patience. calls may overflow to the other location during heavy call volumes. and we will need to continue to confirm the location with you until there is consistency with calls to these direct numbers.

salon price levels

we're excited to announce a change to our price levels in the salon. current price levels for a standard cut & style are $30, 45 & 60. based on your feedback, we will offer price levels in $10 increments beginning november 15th. our new price levels will start at $30 and continue at 40, 50 & 60. color rates will adjust incrementally as well to reflect these new levels. please know, your favorite stylist may experience a minor adjustment to their current price levels. you can find their new price levels listed under their bios on the phresh web site beginning november 1st.

we will also be changing our approach to training our newer talent stylists. the "new talent" level that we currently offer will be eliminated. our apprenticeship training going forward will be targeted to specific areas where more individual development is required. they will continue to need models for their training, so if you are interested in participating as a model, please let us know and we will add you to our model call list. these apprenticeship rates will be much more affordable than our current "new talent" rates.

complete price updates will be reflected on our website and our printed menu beginning november 15th.

appointment reminders

more improvements based on your feedback! since smart phones are becoming the norm, we recently introduced a new tool that automates the appointment reminder and confirmation process via email or text. with this new tool, the potential for errors will be eliminated because appointment detail is automatically pulled directly from our booking system. you'll also find this to be less intrusive than a phone call. we encourage you to move to email or text appointment reminders if you haven't done so yet.
note: it's currently available at grand only. we will be introducing it to our west end location within 60 days.

the stylists at grand donated their time and talents to a great cause. the 3rd annual fashion show "fashion fighting stigma" recently took place at the fine line music cafe. the fashion event raises awareness and funds to those individuals experiencing mental health issues and homelessness. our stylists provided all the models with hair styling and make-up for the event.

please join us in welcoming jackie to our west end team! jackie joins us as a stylist and nail technician. jackie received her professional license in 2009 after graduating from Aveda Institute here in minneapolis. she has also received advanced education from Paul Mitchell hair care, Orbe professional, and Wella color. she loves all aspects of cutting and color, however she has a deep passion for reds!

jackie is a big fan of the local music and art scene, enjoys being outdoors and at the lake. oh, and she's also an avid pinner on pinterest

please join us in welcoming devin to our west end team as well! devin joins us as a massage therapist. he is a graduate of the Aveda Institute here in minneapolis. he is well trained in all aspects of massage therapy. his areas of specialization are in deep tissue and sports massage.

aside from enjoying the outdoors in northern minnesota, devin also enjoys living a healthy lifestyle. achieving the perfect balance of mind and body, exercise, and diet.
