To help ensure that all goes according to plan, we consulted former high fashion model and JABBER Sandra Saladrigas for tips on posing for pictures. Having represented designers such as Chanel, Valentino and Calvin Klein for over 25 years, Sandra knows what the camera likes and is sharing these secrets here with her fellow JABBERS.
- Petroleum jelly on your teeth keeps your teeth shiny and your smile effortless!
- Everyone has a better side. Practice posing so you know your most flattering angle!
- Posing with your hand on your hip gives you a better silhouette and will make you appear thinner.
- When posing, look down first and then look up immediately before your picture is taken. This will make for a fresher and happier look on your face.
- Here's the formula for the perfect post: drop your shoulders, push your chin out, and stretch your neck.
- Be hands-off! Don't lean your face into your hand, but if you must, try to barely touch your skin to avoid distortion.
- Powder is your friend. Touch up often when taking photos.
