Ready to Retire
After 40+ years of owning his own business, my father is serious about retiring, or at least scaling back significantly. I'm trying to get him to face the daunting task of clearing out his warehouse, but I'm having to overcome a few obstacles. One is helping him realize that this has to happen - he's 83 years old and hasn't quite accepted retirement! The other, and this is where I need your help, is knowing how/where/what to do with all the stuff in this warehouse. Most of it is tires, wheels, and auto service machinery that is 15+ years old. A lot will need to go to garbage or recycling, but there are a few gems that I am sure we can sell, I'm just not sure how and/or to whom. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your insight.

From Cecily Wernick: REPLY My 10-year-old son has beautiful handwriting, however, it hurts his hand and makes it hard to complete assignments. I think it's because he holds the pencil awkwardly and isn't sitting properly. I think he may need an occupational therapist to correct his posture and pencil hold to make writing a more pleasant experience, but I'm not sure. Have you experienced anything similar? Is an occupational therapist the right way to go? If so, who should I contact? Your feedback will be extremely helpful.
