We Wish You a Happy Easter! From Team JAB This Sunday, Christian JABBERS across South Florida will celebrate Easter, a commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It also marks the end of Lent, a 40-day period of repentance. According to CBS, the top things people gave up for Lent were: chocolate, junk food, texting, drinking, cursing and gossiping. We have the perfect recipe for you if chocolate was on your list - easy chocolate truffles! Be sure to check it out at the end of this newsletter. Have a happy Easter with your friends and family! |

The Sweet Spot From Team JAB Need some chocolate in your life after Lent? Then whip up some homemade truffles - they are easy and delicious! Ingredients 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened 3 cups confectioners sugar, sifted 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips, melted 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla Directions In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners sugar until well blended. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla until no streaks remain. Refrigerate for about 1 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls. Makes 5 dozen. Tips: To add some toppings to your truffles, roll them in ground walnuts (or any ground nuts), cocoa, coconut, confectioners sugar, candy sprinkles, etc. To flavor truffles with liqueurs or other flavorings, omit vanilla. Divide truffle mixture into thirds. Add 1 tablespoon liqueur (almond, coffee, orange) to each mixture; mix well.
