G2 Athletes of the Week (Ending Sept. 29)

Volleyball player Maggie Li and soccer player Sangmuk Choi were named the Dalhousie G2 Athletes of the Week after strong performances over the weekend.
Maggie Li is a third-year member of the Tigers volleyball team. Over the weekend, she was named the Scotiabank Invitational Tournament MVP for the second year in a row after leading her team to a 3-1 record and recorded 41 kills.
Li has won many awards in her time with the Tigers, including being named to the CIS All-Rookie Team, a two-time AUS First Team All-Star, and a CIS Second Team All-Canadian.
Sangmuk Choi is a third-year midfielder and kinesiology student from Anyang, South Korea. Sangmuk scored the first goal of his AUS career this weekend as the men's soccer team tied UPEI 1-1. Choi has started three games this year as has seen his minutes increase as his play continues to improve. Last year, Sangmuk was named a CIS Academic All-Canadian.

Al Yarr Roast

If you know Al Yarr, you won't want to miss this!
The Dalhousie Tigers cross country and track teams would like to invite you to an evening of celebration of Al Yarr's life on November 1.
Things will get started with a dinner and then move onto a celebration of Al's time with the Tigers.
