Final Summer Concert Wednesday, August 12 at 10:30AM: Cotton Candy Express! 

Lori & RJ are singers, songwriters and top-notch performers. Decked out in colorful clothes, their innovative style holds children and parents alike in a musical trance. The show is a variety show, a sing-a-long, a hands-on, a fun musical extravaganza.

With cool props, special microphones, wild wigs, jig dolls and puppets, pom poms and what ever else they can create that adds fun to their show, you'll need a seat belt to keep from bouncing to the music.

They span the entire musical spectrum with their songs. They are an act that you'll want more and more, so please join us!

Suggested admission is one new book per family, preferably purchased at Linden Tree, that will go to Reading Partners, a non-profit that provides free literacy tutoring with local children who are aiming for grade-level reading proficiency.

This long-time tradition is one we are proud to continue: promoting local musicians and entertainers, providing a cozy (and air conditioned) space for the community, and getting books into the hands of children who need them most.

Hiring Assistant Store Manager & Booksellers!

 

Love to work with children's literature? Find joy in getting the right book in the hands of a reader? Do you have a background in book selling, library science, children's education and/or children's books? 
 
Linden Tree is looking for experienced, part time Booksellers and an Assistant Store Manager. 
 
A background in book selling, library science or a children's based environment is required. A strong knowledge of children's literature and equally strong customer service skills is essential. 

Must have the flexibility to work at least 16 hours per week to include weekend hours. Educators, librarians, and booksellers are all encouraged to inquire. Linden Tree is a destination location for book lovers, located in the heart of downtown Los Altos.
