As part of our commitment to give back to the literary community, we are pleased to welcome several small press and independently published picture book authors at a special event on Friday, May 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening.

Store co-manager and consignment specialist Drew Durham will be leading discussions with the authors about their books. 

This is a casual, drop-in evening event appropriate for all ages. 

Scheduled local authors and their books:

• Princess Ten Ten by Setsu Shigematsu
• Sprite at Night by Joan Ferguson, 18 months to age 5

• Admiral Aardvark's Fantastic Menagerie by Jack R. Knutson, ages 4 and up

• Relax-a-bye Baby by Mimi Sommers, ages 2 and up
• Blueberry Curse by Matt Danzig, ages 3 to 10

Celebrated picture book author Jennifer Fosberry will be at Linden Tree from 1:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon to read from her books, give recommendations to families on other favorites, and to be a part of our wonderful community. Her books include:

• My Name is Not Isabella
• Isabella, Girl on The Go
• Isabella, Star of the Story
• My Name is Not Alexander

One of our favorite annual traditions in Los Altos is the local downtown Farmers' Market, every Thursday May through September from 4 to 8PM. 

Linden Tree will be open on Thursday nights in support of this community event until 8PM every Thursday.
