Steve & Kate's Animation Studio at Los Altos First Friday, April 3, 6:00-8:00PM

We are pleased to welcome Steve & Kate's Camp to Linden Tree during the Los Altos First Friday festivities! They will be demonstrating their animation studio and giving away a 3-day summer camp to one lucky attendee.

This was a fun and popular event last year.  We had kids who came stopped by to create short animated movies out of Legos and backdrops who stayed for the entire two hour-long (FREE) event!

First Friday runs from 6-8PM every month in downtown Los Altos.

This event is best for 6-12 year olds.

Author Sheila Grau Presents "Dr. Critchlore's School For Minions" Friday, April 17 at 7PM!

From an exciting new talent comes a hilarious illustrated series about a school where it's good to be bad.

Twelve-year-old werewolf Runt Higgins is all set for a great year at Dr. Critchlore's School for Minions, the premier producer of minions for Evil Overlords everywhere.

For younger fantasy fans, perfect for ages 8-12. This is a "Hogwarts" for Monsters in Training.

Sheila Grau is a Bay Area mom of four and debut author. She is also the sister of Los Altos High School Librarian Gordon Jack.

RSVP to info@lindentreebooks.com or 650-949-3390 and join us at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening, April 17.

Author Liesl Shurtliff With "Jack: The True Story of Jack & The Beanstalk" Tuesday, April 21 at 4PM!

Fans ages 8-12 of Adam Gidwitz and Chris Colfer will give a GIANT cheer for this funny fairytale retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk!

All work and no play makes Jack extremely bored.  And when Jack gets bored he makes mischief.  It's not that he's bad; he just longs  for adventure-and there's nothing adventurous about toiling day and night to grow yucky green stuff.

Please join us for the fun with author Liesl Shurtliff on Tuesday, April 21 at 4:00 p.m., and take a look at her first book, Rump: The True Story of Rumpelstiltskin!
