Author and Illustrator of Mei-Mei's Lucky Birthday Noodles Saturday, March 14 at 1:00PM!

Shan-Shan Chen, the author, AND Heidi Goodman, the illustrator will share their loving story of adoption, Chinese culture, and a special birthday treat on Saturday, March 14 at 1 in the afternoon.

Along with a special Story Time and book discussion for children ages 3 to 7, we will also have a craft activity related to the book from Tuttle/Simon & Schuster.

Readers will see the adoptive experience at its best: a lot of love and the sharing of roots, showing both parents and kids one of the many ways adopted children from all over the world can learn about the country they come from and take pride in its culture.

An RSVP is appreciated so we can supply enough craft materials.

Who Wants To Meet Froggy? Special Story Time & "Birthday Party" Thursday, March 19 at 4PM!

Please join us for a special Story Time to celebrate the publication of Penguin Random House's Froggy's Birthday Wish, written by Jonathan London and illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz.

Our celebration will include a story time, a birthday treat, and a surprise visit from Froggy himself!

RSVP to reserve a seat for your child.

This event starts at 4PM on Thursday, March 19 and is best for ages 3-7.

Special Design Thinking Activities -- FREE on Saturday, March 14 at 2PM!

Come celebrate Spring with DezignKidz and this fun, free activity. Learn about summer camp programs in Fashion Dezign, Interior Dezign, Toy Dezign, and more.

A recognized partner of the Stanford dSchool, DezignKidz programs encourage true "design thinking" as students explore their creativity while gaining valuable practical and problem-solving skills.

Event hours are 2:00 to 4:00p.m. on Saturday, March 14. Recommended for ages 6 and up.

Author Jean Reagan with "How To Surprise a Dad" on Thursday, March 26 at 4PM!

Jean Reagan, the author of NY Times bestsellers How To Babysit a Grandpa and How To Babysit a Grandma will visit Linden Tree to share her charming new how-to book on how to surprise dads!

We hope you will join us for a lovely afternoon and a special opportunity to have Jean sign your books and read from her book (release date March 24).

Kindergarten and first grade classes at Palo Verde and Bullis Charter School will be hosting Jean earlier in the day for some special presentations.

This book from Knopf/ Penguin Random House is recommended for ages 4-7.
