called Divine in its truest meaning. Our difficulty lies in turning away from the distractions and the noise of the external world so that we can learn to recognize that voice.
Pir Zia Inayat Khan will guide participants on this journey with stories, sacred sound and breath practices, contemplative perspectives and meditative practices. This weekend will provide an opportunity to explore the inner life and immerse oneself in the sacred.
PIR ZIA INAYAT-KHAN is a teacher of Universal Sufism in the lineage of Hazrat Inayat Khan. He received his Ph.D. in Religion from Duke University. Pir Zia is head of the Sufi Order International and founder of Suluk Academy, a school of contemplative study with branches in the United States and Europe.
