THIS TUESDAY AT RISING TIDE
Tuesday, Nov 3, 7:30pm - Shahabuddin David Less will talk about the recent session of the Parliament of World Religions, which took place in Salt Lake City, Utah. A group from Rising Tide were among the approximately 10,000 people from 80 countries, representing 50 of the world's religions, who gathered there from Oct 15-19. You are invited to hear about an event that occurs every 5 years at various places around the globe, an event that is not only fascinating & uplifting, but that demonstrates the reality that is possible, that is already taking shape in numerous ways & places.
Also on the agenda: a report from the Abrahamic Reunion & the Interfaith Celebration that Rising Tide conducted several times during the Parliament. The Abrahamic Reunion (the AR), founded in 2001, is an expanding group of religious/spiritual leaders in the Holy Land - Palestinians & Israelis- committed to using religion to bring peace & harmony among the people. Now, when things appear so dark, these women & men have gathered as living examples of what could be.
For more information about the Parliament & to watch some of the events there, including the Abrahamic Reunion & an interfaith celebration, go to www.parliamentofreligions.org. You can also go to www.risingtideinternational.org & click on 'classes' then on 'livestream' to view a few of the events. (Click on the boxes with the words Rainbow, Healing, Peace, & Worship). WELCOME TO RICHARD NUR-AL-HAQQ MARTIN
Dear Friends, I am finally almost settled in my new home here in Sarasota! I've been traveling to Rising Tide for close to 15 years offering hands-on healing sessions, teaching classes, leading Dances, Zikr & Universal Worships. I'm now looking forward to becoming an active member of the RTI community, taking part in the RTI activities, & again offering hands-on healing sessions & classes.
Sunday, Oct 25, from 10:30-11:30, I will be leading the Universal Worship Service. It will be an Interfaith Gathering & a Formless Universal Worship: We will have discussions, share prayers, tell stories from both personal experience & scriptures you have studied. I hope you can join us. The hands-on healing sessions I offer combine shiatsu (Japanese finger pressure), Healing Qigong (which is grounded within the Yin Style Bagua System of Healing), & The Raphaelite Work, (a healing modality that approaches healing through transformation and self-discovery). These sessions support your whole being: body, heart & soul. The normal charge per session is $85-1 hr, $45- 1/2 hour. However, till the end of December the charge for those in RTI community will be $50 & $25 respectively. Healing sessions will be at my home, which is within 2 minutes of RTI. For appointments: 410-215-0328 or yanur33@gmail.com. In Service, Richard Nur-al-Haqq.

RECOMMENDED
1 ) Introducing The Foundations Practice: a spiritual & healing practice that uses visualization, intention, affirmation, & awareness. It is based on the work of a few people & came together over this last year. Previous to finding this I had been doing a lot of traditional, eastern spiritual practices and had developed kundalini syndrome, so I had to find a completely different kind of spiritual practice. At about this time I very spontaneously went to Goodwill & walked right to a book by the person that received the original version of this. I have modified & adapted it & added material from others I was inspired by. My experiences with it have been amazing & transformative. I offer it now for people to use in whatever way they would like: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_laV6dJwYZzq_DCOmtTaGjnL8hOSo_e_oQQuFnWgz9U/edit?pli=1. (Submitted by Matthew Fattah)
2) We went to a new restaurant on St Armand's Circle, the Green Zebra Cafe. Wow! It was some of the most delicious food I've ever had in my life. We had raw, vegan thai wraps, raw, vegan burritos, and raw, vegan chia pudding. Their kombucha was really good too. My favorite is the blue rose flavor. Also, the people who own it are so nice! They have loads of vegan and raw, vegan options. 476 John Ringling Blvd (941) 388-2848 (Submitted by Gabrielle Lennon)
3) It would be good if you wanted to inform your friends and maybe some of the Colleges about this grand Event this Saturday. Many of the World's best Teachers will bring millions of people into resonance with our current evolutionary process and possibilities. Global Oneness Day: http://www.globalonenesssummit.org/.
