Wounded Warriors
Wounded warriors attending our summer sports camp, Their Spirit Inspires, were honored on the field during a Sacramento River Cats game.
Army Sgt. Kelly Strong threw out the first ball of the evening. Sgt. Strong, a medic in Afghanistan, was also the recipient of this year's Warrior Spirit Award at the event's concluding banquet Saturday evening, June 29th. He was thankful for the sports camp and explained how the sports camp changed his outlook on life.
