"God's work. Our hands." Sunday
In celebration of the ELCA's 25th anniversary, on September 8, 2013 congregations from across the Southeastern Iowa Synod donned bright yellow t-shirts and went out into their communities as part of the ELCA's first "God's work. Our hands." Sunday. This year's "God's work. Our hands." Sunday is September 7, 2014 and we want to share your pictures, stories, and personal reflections from your congregation's day of service. Email your pictures and stories to Minda Davison at davison@seiasynod.org for publication on the synod's website and Facebook page.

But make no mistake; this was not a week of brutal torture out in the Appalachian Mountains. Keep reading...
