Well, for most of us, the ride is over for another year. Yes, that's right, Planetrox China, 2013 is finished, and although all good things must end, we were tickled pink by the reception of the competition this year.  

As we said, 'for most of us' the competition is over, however, for the lucky people from Shotgun Politics, the fun has just begun! They'll be whisked off to Canada to perform at the Envol et Macadam festival in Quebec City, sharing the stage with the likes of NOFX, no less. 

The entire Underground team, as well as everyone involved in the event, would like to offer a big CONGRATULATIONS to all the bands who competed this year, it was truly a fantastic final show, and we had an amazing time. From the screaming metal of Synergy, to the fast psychobilly-pop sounds of Say Mosquito, then, always the consummate pro, the huge hip-hoppy, funky and hard rocking tunes of Dr. Eggs, and finally, the mellower, calmer pop-rock of Fame. 

We would also like to thank our esteemed judges: music scene observer and critic, Edwin Lo of Bitetone, HKGFM's music director Cliff Babbs, and none other than the director and chief designer for Albion, Steve Grindrod. 

Finally, we would like to give a big thanks to everyone who came along to support live music, and gave us one of the largest crowds we've ever had at Backstage! We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we hope you'll stop by and read the reviews & check out the photos which are up on the Underground website.
