For over eight years, at all our events, we've had reviewers come and watch the bands perform and then write their honest reviews.  Some reviews are better than others, some longer than other

Musicians - do you crave the full attention of your audience when your lungs burst with song, your fingers bleed with notes and your arms nearly drop off from drumming?

Audience - might you relish the idea of actually being present to immerse yourself in a band's music, songs and melodies?

Social media addicts - need to wean yourself off of having to tweet, foursquare, facebook or instagram at every event you attend?

We may have just the trick.

Using an Anti-Social Media Underground, take one capful of bands that must be watched live to know what they're all about, and a tablet of bands whose music is best experienced when you're immersing yourself in it. This restorative contains one dose of rock 'n' roll fun in the form of Innisfallen, supplemented by the punk energy from Dr Eggs, and topped off with a final dose of grandeur from Forget The G (from Macau).

And what better way to achieve this than by immersing yourself in a night of the heaviest, most ass-kicking music around?

That's the sort of night we've planned for you at Underground Heavy #8. It's been well over a year since our last heavy show and we have another gaggle of bands on the night of 26th of January.
Kicking off with the thrashy tunes of Fear Index, after which ambient metallers Black Night Red Sky will take the stage - find out what IS ambient metal. We then welcome HK veterans Blackwine, who have been playing progressive metal for over 14 years. Then, to close the night we have the newly formed BLACKBIRD who promise us feral screams inside stoner rock. A smorgasbord of loud, great music.

So bring your daughter to the slaughter. Or not.   Be there!

這個晚上，我們已經於Underground Heavy #8為你準備好了。繼上一次的Heavy演出已經一年，1月26日再次捲土重來了。打頭陣是Fear Index，然後由玩氣氛金屬的Black Night Red Sky接下舞台 - 來探究什麼是氣氛金屬吧。緊接著是已在香港玩前衛金屬逾十四年的經驗樂手Blackwine演出，最後由承諾聲嘶力竭的BLACKBIRD壓軸演出。
