THE CALL
Looking back over the years I can still remember how God spoke to me leading me to come to Peru! I was in the back of Pastor Jim Andrew's class on missions, in Rhema USA, all of a sudden I began to cry for no reason. Pastor Jim was not preaching on anything that would make you cry at this time, never the less there I was crying. Then another strange thing happened, I heard a voice saying to me "YOU CAN GO TO PERU!" Needless to say that was the furthest thing on my mind at the time; my plan was to graduate from Rhema and start my traveling ministry in the states not to be a missionary! Thank God I listened and obeyed, GLORY TO GOD!
STORIES
FIRST TRIP 1994
I remember the first time I arrived, in Arequipa, that day there was a march for Jesus going on and the pastor asked me if I wanted to rest or go to the march; I decided to go to the march even though I was very tired from my trip! We had an awesome time in the march and parade, I got to rest later after the march.
SECOND TRIP 1997
My second trip to Peru was a lot longer than the first trip, the first trip was only for 2.5 months while this second trip was going to be for 11 months. You always hear people talking about culture shock, the truth of the matter in my first trip there was no sense of culture shock but in my second trip there was! Thank God for people praying for me! When I got back to the states I was talking with a good friend and found out that she had had an urgency to pray for me one time strongly while in Peru. I then asked her when did she get that urgency, what month? Come to find out it was the exact time when I was dealing with the culture shock that she had got this urgency to pray! Look at God!!!
THIRD TRIP AND PRESENT
After that second trip to Arequipa, Peru, I knew that I needed to go back and stay for a longer period of time; that was back in September of 2000! Here we are today 13 years later still true to the call giving all the glory to God!
RECENT HAPPENINGS & EVENTS

We had the opportunity to preach in our good friend and pastor Divaldo's church recently. It is also a pleasure to share in his church. Presently we are in the process of planning more times to share and help him to equip his leaders and workers to do the work of the ministry with a servants heart! He has a multi-work in process as he has churches in several different locations. We are looking forward to helping him in all his facilities.
This past month in our own home church here in Peru, God Is Faithful Christian Community Church, we took over the youth ministry and will be working with the leaders and teens to take the group to the next level. Both Ximena and I have worked with teens and are looking forward to investing in their lives!
MINISTRY GUESTS SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER
We are looking forward to the months of September and October as we will be having two special guests; Pastor Joni Stevenson from September 16-27 and Rev. Kevin Smith from September 27 thru October 10th. This will be a great way to round the year off! Expectations are high as we prepare for our special guests; we refuse to limit God in anyway, have your way Lord as you show yourself strong through your servants!
We also thank you Father for supplying and meeting all needs known and unknown far above all we can ask or think!
