In a peer learning environment with other like-minded entrepreneurs, this 6-month program will provide entrepreneurs with the skills needed to take existing businesses to the next level. Upon completion of this course, entrepreneurs will complete a strategic plan and have long term measurable goals to implement in their business. 

 

The ideal candidate for this course is a business owner looking to grow their business with less than or equal to 3 years of their business being in operation.

We are so proud of the fact that Creative Capital is one of the only national nonprofit organizations that awards grants to individual artists through an open application process. 

This means that anyone can apply, as long as you meet our basic eligibility criteria. 

 

To be eligible to apply, an artist must be: 
* A U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident
* At least 25 years old
* A working artist with at least five years of professional experience
* Not a full-time student

An Exhibit by Members of the Peterborough Artist Colony Will Open at the 

Sharon Arts Center Gallery 
Friday, November 2, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

An exhibit by members of the Peterborough Artist Colony will open at the Sharon Arts Center Gallery,30 Grove St., on November 2 and run through January 7, 2013. 

  

An opening reception, free and open to the public, will be held Friday, November 2 from 5 to 7 pm. Sponsors of the exhibit include the New Hampshire Institute of Art, Sequoya Technologies Group LLC, and RBC Wealth Management.

  

Curating the exhibit is Jan Dolan, who studied at the University of New Hampshire and was mentored in the tradition of the French Academy and American Impressionists in the studio of Boston and New Hampshire painter Sidney Willis.  

 

This exhibition features the artwork of nine artists who have been living and working in the Monadnock Region for a significant time: Mona Adissa Brooks, Sue Callihan, David Dodge,
Jan Dolan, Georgia Fletcher, Numael Pulido, Shirely Pulido, Karin Wells, and Patricia Wright.

Annual Gala & Auction:

The Peterborough Players will hold its biggest fundraising event of the year - their 24th  Annual  Gala & Auction: Denim and Diamonds on Saturday, November 3rd at 5:30 p.m

 

The nonprofit professional theatre is beautifully decorated for the evening and becomes a fun-filled auction arena, with a Silent Auction of 75 items, a Raffle for a 1.25 carat diamond, and a Live Auction hosted by Peterborough auctioneer Charlie Cobb. 

 

Hearty gourmet hors d'oeuvres from Sage with Thyme Catering, decadent desserts provided by Sunflowers Restaurant and Catering, an open bar all evening, and live entertainment round out the enjoyment of the Gala & Auction.
