CMS PROPOSING SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO SURGICAL DRESSINGS COVERAGE
The proposed changes by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) would potentially impact a wide variety of surgical dressings. Please take note of the CMS Surgical Dressings Draft and how its impact will affect the role of the WOC Nurse.

Medicare changes its coverage policies for Pneumatic Compression Devices used for home treatment of lymphedema and venous stasis ulcers. Beginning December 1st there will be fewer treatment options.
Online education in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Care. Courses designed to meet your schedule, taught by experienced WOC Nursing Faculty with a minimum of 20 years of WOC Nursing experience and no travel is required for theory.
