End-Of-Summer Fun!
The summer may be almost over but the fun continues to heat up at the Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District. Enroll wiggly children in an August summer camp. Attend the American Iron Car Show (8/10) with over 80+ classic beauties. Go swimming. Take an art class. Learn to Tango! And enjoy the last bit of summer freedom with family and friends in one of our beautiful parks.

The Pleasant Hill Recreation & Park District celebrates the 13th annual American Iron Car Show! Take a walk down memory lane and enjoy the gorgeous vehicles of yester-year. Free to public. Vote for your favorite car and pick the Car Show winner! Music, Prize drawings and vendors. Participating car owners must pre-register and provide entry fee. Based around a group of six eccentric spellers competing in a spelling bee, run by an even quirkier, idiosyncratic adults. This play is engaging and genuinely funny all the way to the end. It's a w-i-n-n-e-r! Tickets: $7 pre-sale or $12 day of (Ticket sales begin 8/4)

The Senior Center's Holiday Boutique, held on Saturday, November 22nd, is opening up space for outside crafters to sell their crafts. Woodworkers, painters, quilters, knitters, sewers and makers of wonderful things are welcome! Crafter entrance fee of $50 includes 6' table space.
